RULES OF THE GAME
The main purpose is to score more points than the other team by moving the ball down the field and into the opposing team's End Zone by either passing or running with the ball. Teams are made up of 12 players per side called Offense, who advance the ball ten yards in 3 downs (chances) and Defense who aim to get the ball (interception) and subsequently become the Offense.

The game has close ties to American Football but with some key differences. It traces its roots back to the early 1860s.
