GREY CUP
The Grey Cup is both the name of the Canadian Football League's championship game and its trophy and is contested between the East Division and West Division champions every November and donated by the Earl Grey, then Canada's governor general, in 1909.

It has been played by amateur and college sides, with the University of Toronto winning the first 3 Grey Cups and exclusively by Canadian teams except for 1993-1995 when American teams joined in with Baltimore Stallions losing in 1994 and winning it in 1995. Edmonton Eskimos played in the longest dynasty of winning 5 consecutive Grey Cups between 1978-1982.
It has been won at home only 6 times in 1972 (Hamilton), 1977 (Montreal), 1994 and 2011 (British Columbia), 2012 (Toronto) and 2013 (Saskatchewan).
Toronto (17), Edmonton (14) and Winnipeg (10) are the most successful, with Winnipeg appearing in the most (24). Edmonton have made the most since 1958 (11) and most appearances (19) but Saskatchewan have lost the most (15) with 5 consecutive losses (1928 to 1932).
