COLLEGE FOOTBALL
College football is a version of American football, some different rules apply, that is played by teams of student athletes fielded by American universities, colleges, and military academies, or Canadian football played by teams of student athletes fielded by Canadian universities. It was through college football that American football rules first gained popularity in the United States and dates back to the very first game in 1869 between New Jersey (now Princeton University) Tigers and the Rutgers Queensmen (now Scarlet Knights).

Players are picked to play professional football via the NFL Draft, CFL Draft and other leagues.
